Medium Roasts
Very smooth and mild with a clean finish. A mix of Sumatran, Peruvian,
and Mexican beans. It's also organic, fairly traded,
and shade-grown.
An organic, fairly traded blend of hearty Nicaraguan,
mild Mexican, and slightly sharper Guatemalan beans at a variety
of roasts (but overall, a medium roast). The Simply tastes familiar
to many people because so many of the available beans on the market
come from the Central/South American region. However, it lacks the
sweetness associated with Indonesian beans and the zest of African
coffee.
A "Mocha-Java" blend, meaning half African (Mocha, named
for the Yemeni port of Mocha)and half Indonesian (after the Indonesian
island of Java). P&H is a nutty, flavourful roast. Fairly traded.
The original Oso blend, representing the three main coffee-growing
regions of the world (that's 1/3 zesty African, 1/3 smooth Indonesian,
and 1/3 full-bodied Central/ South American). It's generally well-rounded
with a bit of Ethiopian sharpness. Fairly traded.
Rich, full-bodied, and safe-if you're buying for someone else and
don't want to get something too risqué. 100% organic and fairly traded.
