History | The Roastery | Our Café

We roast in the Kootenay Warehousing Building, a quirky, rambling, hundred-year-old structure that was Nelson's original brewery. Today it houses a diverse collection of businesses, including the Nelson Brewing Company, Live Metal Works, Kutenai Chai, Silver King Tofu, potters, artists, carpenters, a door-maker, a shoemaker, NRG sports wholesaling, and a sheet metal fabricator.

The roastery is our headquarters for roasting, blending and bagging, processing orders, mail order, accounting, general administration, brainstorming, green bean storage, and consumption of copious amounts of fine local foods.
